uwe boll : awful

Uwe Boll's first language is not English, so we forgive him for an occasionally misspelling in his email. We at H.O.P.E. have been known to occasionally forget to dot an i or cross a t. In fact, we get a lot of email about it. Anyway . . .

Mr.Boll (Alone in the Dark) says gems like

"WE MUST KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ALL THIS . LOOK in SIGNS THE AUDIENCE KNOWS THAT THE ALIENS WANTS TO DESTROY - SO HE AUDIENCE IS AFRAID. LIKE WHT YOU SAY ABOUT OSAMA BIN LADEN: WE DONT KNOW A LOT - BUT WE ARE FRAID - BECAUSE OF 11.9. - SO WITHOUT ANY INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ALIENS WE ALL FEEL NOTHING - WE ARE ALL CONFUSED BUT LETS SAY YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE SHOWED AN ALIEN IN SIGN - IT WOULD BE A DESASTER - NOBODY WOULD TAKE IT SERIOUS!!"

in an article detailing working along side him. This isn't simply badly translated english - he berates his screenwriters for doing things like not showing the monster every scene, and for not ripping off the Crow. He insists there aren't enough car chases. It's like looking into the mind of a 13 year old boy off his medication.
