Wonder why we get such lousy music on the radio?

Record companies aren't releasing albums that don't have a "hit single" like Ms. Apple's already recorded 3rd album. It is sitting on a shelf at Sony. Dave Muscato is trying to get it released - and while we don't necessarily like Fionna Apple, we do want music to be released regardless of its mainstream commercial appeal.
